Terms of Use

1. The service

Hoof is a horse-care app for Saudi Arabia. It brings an owner and their team (trainer, groom, vet, farrier) health, visits, medications, feed, appointments, reminders, show jumping, documents and expenses in one place. Your data is kept in your account on our servers, so you can reach it from any device you sign in on.

2. Your account

You sign in with your Saudi mobile number and a verification code, one account per number. You’re responsible for your phone and number, and for the accuracy of what you add. Hoof is for people aged 18 and over; younger people may join a team under a guardian’s supervision.

3. Plans, trial and payment

• A 14-day free trial per mobile number, no card needed. It starts when you sign up as an “Owner” or when you add your first horse.
• Two plans: Horse Owner (one active horse) and Stable Owner (unlimited horses), for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year.
• Subscriptions are purchased in the app through the App Store only and charged to your Apple ID; prices are as the store shows them and include VAT.
• Plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, in your App Store settings (Apple ID → Subscriptions). A plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
• If you change phones or reinstall the app, use “Restore purchases” with the same Apple ID.

4. Refunds

Refunds follow Apple’s policy: payment goes through Apple and we can’t issue refunds ourselves. Request one on Apple’s Report a Problem page (reportaproblem.apple.com); our support can help if you need it.

5. Your team

Team members never pay. The owner is responsible for who they invite and the roles they give, and can remove anyone at any time. An invite expires after 14 days and only the invited number can accept it. Each member sees only what their role allows, and amounts are visible to the owner only (vets and farriers see only the fees of their own visits). What a member adds to a horse becomes part of its file, held by the owner.

6. When a plan ends

Your horses become read-only: you can view, export and delete your account, and nothing is deleted. Renew any time to edit again. On Horse Owner with more than one horse, you choose which horse stays active.

7. Your content

What you add is yours. You give us a limited permission to store it and show it to you and your team, only as needed to run the service. You can export it any time from Account; deleting your account is immediate and permanent, and the data can’t be recovered afterwards.

8. Acceptable use

• Don’t add unlawful content or content you don’t have the right to share.
• Don’t try to access other people’s data or disrupt the service.
• Don’t invite people to your team who haven’t agreed to it.
• Don’t copy, modify or reverse-engineer the app.

9. Not veterinary advice

Hoof is an organising and reminder tool. Suggested dates and alerts are there to help and don’t replace a qualified vet. A notification may not arrive because of signal or phone settings, so always check your list. Weather forecasts come from an outside source and may be inaccurate.

10. Intellectual property

The app, its design, the name “Hoof” / «هووف», its logo and its texts belong to Hoof and may not be copied, distributed or modified without prior written permission. These terms give you only a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app.

11. Limits of liability

We provide the service “as is” and work hard to keep it running. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect damages, and our liability is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months.

12. Ending your account

You can delete your account from Account at any time. Deleting your account or the app doesn’t cancel your subscription — cancel it in your App Store settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, with notice where possible, and we may develop the app or change its features, telling you about important changes.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its courts handle any dispute.

14. Changes

If we make important changes we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Hoof means you accept them.
